Precita Valley Community & Family Center

The Precita Valley Community Center is our second oldest piece of property and is located at 534 Precita Ave. The Precita Center has provided services to youth and the surrounding community since 1922, and officially became a part of Mission Neighborhood Centers in 1959. This program serves youth ages 6 – 24 with various recreational, diversion, prevention, and intervention programs. (Site Coordinator: Edward “Teddie” Honey)

Centro de Alegria

Located in the heart of the Mission at 1245 Alabama St is Centro de Alegria. This center contains three preschool classrooms, an outdoor learning space, and a large outdoor play yard. This site is also co-located with our Family Resource Center. Site Supervisor: Amada Navarez

Located at 1329/1331 Evans, just a few doors down from our Head Start, El Centro Bayview provides holistic care and resources for our families. The center houses our Family Resource Center providing family case management and parent leadership activities, the Essential Service Hub which provides COVID responsive services such as employment, housing, and educational supports as well as income relief, and the Community Hub Initiative (CHI) which provides all day in person support to 12 SFUSD grade school youth.
