Located in the heart of the Mission at 1245 Alabama St is Centro de Alegria. This center is co-located with Children’s Services and Workforce. We provide basic supports to low-income families, essential goods, and hygiene and diapers to families in need, as well as strong family advocacy classes and an Abriendo Puertas curriculum to support the development of the family unit. MNC Evans FRC Campus has a Family Resource Center providing family case management, advocacy, essential goods distribution, and emergency COVID relief services as well as parent leadership activities. MNC Evans FRC Campus Essential Services Food Hub provides COVID responsive services such as employment, housing, and educational supports as well as income relief.
