Alemany is the newest addition to our family of Head Start sites and is located in the Alemany Housing Development at 956 Ellsworth St. The center has one classroom and a beautiful, fenced in play area. This site serves 17 children daily from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 pm, year round. English and Spanish are spoken here. The children receive a healthy breakfast, lunch, and snack. Across from Garfield Park and Pool, this center is located at 3141 26th St. The center serves 24 children daily from 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., year round. Renovations have begun for this site. Once completed our preschoolers will enjoy a larger, modernized space. In addition, a toddler classroom will be added, creating a continuum of services in one building. Capp Head Start Center

Located in our historic Administrative building at 362 Capp St., the Capp Street Head Start Center has two classrooms and a large gross motor room. This site serves 68 children daily split into two sessions. The hours of operation are 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. English and Spanish are spoken here. Capp Street Senior Center

Located in our historic Administrative building at 362 Capp St., the Capp Street Senior center provides a variety of healthy aging activities for senior citizens. Activities include congregate meals, exercise classes, counseling, Zumba, yoga classes, field trips and computer classes. In addition, the clients receive assistance with obtaining food and other social services, local resources, and in obtaining their United States citizenship. Centro Bayview Child Dev & Family Center

SEFAU, our newest center, is located at 1337 Evans Ave. in the Bayview-Hunter’s Point district and houses our Head Start Program and center based Early Head Start. In addition to the child development classrooms, SEFAU houses our Family Resource Center. The child development classrooms serve 14 infants and toddlers and 20 preschoolers from 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., year round. English and Spanish are spoken here. Centro de Alegria Family Resource Center

Centro de Alegria opened in August 2016. Our 24th Street Head Start center relocated here. The site now houses two Head Start classrooms with half day sessions, and one, mixed-income, full day classroom. The center includes two outdoor areas and is a warm, welcoming environment for children and parents. A healthy breakfast, snack, and lunch are served to the children daily. The center is comprised of one classroom, serving 17 children in two half day sessions, and an outdoor play yard. The hours of operation are 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. English and Spanish are spoken here. Mission Bay Center

Located at 152 Berry St., in the Mission Bay neighborhood and very near the famed AT&T Park, is our Mission Bay center. This center is full year and serves 40 children in two classrooms, from 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and has a beautiful and gated play area. English and Spanish are spoken here. Precita Valley Community & Family Center

The Precita Valley Community Center is our second oldest piece of property and is located at 534 Precita Ave. The Precita Center has provided services to youth and the surrounding community since 1922, and officially became a part of Mission Neighborhood Centers in 1959. Valencia Gardens Center
